Andy and Sonia Coleman
Andy and Sonia Coleman are both fully qualified, Chartered Physiotherapists with over 20 years of experience between them in the field of orthopaedics and sports injuries. Both have degrees in Physiotherapy and have undertaken substantial post-graduate training to maintain a high level of up-to-date knowledge and clinical expertise. Registered with the Health Professionals Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, both are bound by their code of clinical standards and ethics.
Andy qualified in 2001 with Honours from the University of East London. He then proceeded to gain experience in the NHS. During this time he reached the level of Senior Physiotherapist and was responsible for the supervision and education of several student and junior Physiotherapists. Having a keen interest in sport, Andy has also worked with the Reading Football Club youth team and the Professional Seniors Tennis Tour. Andy is a fully qualified AACP acupuncturist.
Andy and Sonia work full time in private practice. They joined the team at Magnolia House Surgery, Sunningdale in 2006 and have also established private corporate clinics within the BBC, BA and Nortel.
Sonia graduated in Melbourne, Australia in 1997 with a Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy. She began her career in Richmond Virginia, working at the VCU Sports Medicine Centre. She returned to Australia where she worked with The Dandenong Rangers, a women's basket ball team in the National Women's Basketball League. Sonia then went on to work with a division 1 soccer team "Springvale White Eagles" and was employed at the Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic where she worked as part of a team of physiotherapists who looked after the Hawthorn Football Club (Australian Football League "Aussie Rules").
Sonia enjoys treating sports injuries and has developed a keen interest in managing spinal pain and implementing effective strategies for preventing and improving back pain.
Sonia is a fully qualified AACP acupuncturist, Clinical Pilates and APPI instructor.
Andy and Sonia both strongly believe in a holistic approach to treatment and prevention. They strive to provide an excellent service that is professional and evidence based.
Fiona Kearsley
Fiona Kearsley graduated from Queen's College, Glasgow in 1981. She initially worked at the National Spinal Injuries Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, treating spinal injuries and gaining experience in all major specialties including orthopaedics, medical, surgical and musculoskeletal conditions. Fiona then moved into the private sector to become a senior physiotherapist at Champneys Health Resort, Tring. Here Fiona developed a keen interest in sports injuries and exercise therapy.
Fiona trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) to become a certified Pilates matwork instructor and fully trained in all Pilates large equipment including the reformer and cadillac. Fiona has a wide experience with 1:1 Pilates and Pilates classes. She is an APPI presenter and delivers Pilates courses to physiotherapists throughout UK and Europe.
Fiona is currently studying at the North London School of Sports Massage. In her spare time she enjoys a gentle 6 mile run and baking for her ever-hungry family.
Diane Wootton
Diane Wootton is a clinical physiotherapy specialist with over 20 years experience working in the field of bladder and bowel dysfunction and chronic pelvic pain. She has a graduate diploma from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and trained at The Middlesex Hospital, London. Her NHS work is at The Hillingdon Hospital, Uxbridge and at The Grove Surgery in Egham and she treats men, women and children.
Diane is a full member of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health, is on the Executive Committee of Chartered Physiotherapists Promoting Continence and is a clinical reviewer for The Prostate Cancer Charity. This year she completed an advanced acupuncture course for the treatment of bladder and hormonal symptoms in men and women.
