‘Relax and Restore’
Lisa brings a Relax and Restore Class which aids our ethos of reducing tension and chronic pain at Active Solutions. This can be seated or lying on the floor with bolsters and aids to reduce tension.
For both classes wear warm, comfortable layers plus socks as your body temperature may cool down. For Relax and Restore if you would like to bring a light blanket, a thin cushion and an eye mask these will enhance your relaxation.
Lisa Williams Biography
Lisa brings a love of yoga that began over thirty years ago. She took that interest further with a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation course and then embarked on the Yogacampus teacher training course in London, where she qualified in 2011. Lisa has enjoyed bringing Yoga to a wide spectrum of people, ranging from early years children with additional needs to chair Yoga for students in their 90’s! Over the years her continuing professional development has focused on subjects including; Feldenkrais, Yoga for stress and anxiety, meditation, mindfulness, using NLP with Yoga and Restorative Yoga. She is a Relax and Renew Trainer and Reiki healer. Lisa is currently working for Sport in Mind, teaching Yoga to support people with mental health issues. She is also employed as a Community Tutor to bring yoga to students who may find regular classes hard to access. Lisa’s classes are friendly and inclusive and she loves to share her enthusiasm about the joy and healing powers of Yoga.
